Chicagoland

Oak Leaf Cooperative School has co-ops throughout the Chicagoland area making it convenient to become involved in one of the co-ops!
Northwest Co-op (Barrington)
Based in Barrington, IL, this co-op offers child-caregiver classes, a homeschool enrichment program, and now has the Northwest Nature Preschool open. Classes take place outdoors, in all seasons, with the goal of fostering a love for nature and respect for people, plants, and animals while creating the next generation of environmental stewards. Be sure to check out our leadership page for more information about our leadership and teachers or email northwestprograms@oakleaf.school.

North Central Co-op (Winnetka)
The North Central Co-op offers the Oak Leaf Forest School, a mixed-age drop-off program for 3-6-year-olds run by an experienced educator (click here for Elizabeth Kelly’s bio) with help from parents! This program is located at Crow Island Woods in Winnetka. There is also an informal nature playgroup coordinated by a parent volunteer. For more information, visit individual program tabs.
